No. In America, on a pure materials basis, it is cheaper to buy in bulk and make it yourself than to buy it retail. When you factor in labor and overhead, you may lose the game. It depends on how much charge yourself, and whether you charge yourself money to wait for your dough to rise. I do laundry and iron. You weigh quality and convenience individually. If you care more about convenience than quality then you probably want a hotpocket or frozen pizza. GB2/ck/.

BTW: similar story for reloaded ammunition. You'll break even on 9mm and lose on .22, but you'll beat retail about everywhere else- especially .50 caliber.

depends on price of ingredients too, sometimes i'm a sucker for the higher grade nicer things when it comes to cooking. sometimes i'm not. like when it comes to baking soda or something, the generic is almost as good as the regular. when it comes to meat, a new york strip [or most anything from that area of the cow] will beat a cube flank mystery cut.
I'd give anonymous a little more benefit of the doubt; didn't appear to be doing nothing as foolish as comparing chuck to loin. Possibly looking to piss in some cheerios.Certainly is a bit harder to win the game if you're buying perishable items in small quantities. Harder still, to find a damned use for 2 lbs of cheese.

i'm saying that there is no way in hell i would buy the shitty cut of meat

Yesterday I prepared 4 toasted panini for me and my friends, with salami, haloumi, rocket, roasted capsicum, tomato, red onion, mayonnaise and jalapenos. No excess ingredients. It cost me $18 which is probably about half what you would pay for the same thing at a cafe. Not sure if that's good value or not. It's nice to make food for other people though.

On Sunday, March 23, 2008, WTFux received news that long-time 'fuxer and artist roofletrain passed away in a freak ATV accident. Electric fences were a factor in the crash.Somewhere, roofletrain is looking up or down at us, shaking his head in disapproval. He died the same way that he lived... in a state of being the person who drew chase's fursona.
